We have worked with Acme since August 2009 and are still working with them on our software as a service product laborperformance.com.  I cannot recommend them highly enough.  I have used a variety of service providers over the last decade as well as managed inside teams.  Jay and his team are a true pleasure to work with and are quite different from my previous experiences.  First, and foremost for our business, is their integrity.  They tend to under promise and over deliver, a trait I have found to be very rare in the information technology world.  Jay and his team are exceptional at communicating when challenges arise so there are no surprises.  

For the very extensive project they are working on for us, they have consistently come in on time and at or under budget.  As well, their broad experience in technology and business process makes it very easy to work with them.  They quickly get a firm understanding of the business requirements which makes it much easier to translate those requirements into technology.  Their software and process documentation is superlative.  You will not go wrong working with their firm.

How We Did It...

Acme is using ExtJS, Postgres and integrating with Jasper reports all on the Amazon Elastic Cloud to provide a powerful, stand-alone platform to serve the needs of current and future clients of the system. The platform is designed to facilitate substantial growth and adaptation as the business grows and evolves. The interface is modern and efficient for maximum productivity.

With the pilot implementation complete we are moving into a phase of commercialization which brings all new challenges. Production is separated into two distinct tracks: product management focused on development of new features and functionality and product support and implementation.
